inDriver’s opens its First Free IT center in Pakistan

September 10, 2022, Karachi - BeginIT, a social educational project launched by inDriver has tied up with JDC Foundation to build its first free IT center in Pakistan for underprivileged children.

inDriver’s social educational project, “BeginIT” has launched its first IT center in Karachi, Pakistan, in collaboration with the reputable NGO, JDC Foundation who are actively working on providing free education to underprivileged students in Karachi.

The chief guests of the event was Federal IT and Telecom minister of Pakistan; Mr. Syed Amin ul haque, alongside with Deputy commissioner -Karachi, Mr.Taha Saleem, Ms.Jahan Ara; an ex-president of the Pakistan Software Houses Association for IT (P@SHA), Sarwat Gilani, an actress and activist for child education and domestic abuse, and JDC founder Mr.Zafar Abbas, were also in attendance.

The event marked the official launch of the “BeginIT” , a social project powered by inDriver. The program is aimed at providing free IT education and free IT Center equipped with all the modern equipment and facilities required for the courses to serve underprivileged children from orphanages, boarding schools, and rural schools.

She further added: “Our belief is that each student at BeginIT can eventually become an expert in various fields of information technology. Through coursework and lessons, our goal is to provide each of them with a strong foundation in IT and empower them with such skills that they will be able to pursue their own interests and create their own opportunities and we are really optimistic about the results in Pakistan”.
