This year, the BeginIT project celebrates its 10th anniversary! 
Designed as the Sinet Team’s social and educational project to engage with kids from orphanages, boarding schools, and rural schools in Yakutia, BeginIT launched in 2012. 
In 2019, the project went international and kicked off its operations in Mexico and Colombia. 

Today, BeginIT has more than 1,300 participants from 15 countries around the globe. For more than three years now, we have been running classes on educational platforms, interacting with teachers, and providing free access to courses in programming, web design, and game development for children around the world with a gift for IT.
This year, the reach of the project expanded to Pakistan and Chile. In addition, BeginIT resumed its activities in Kazakhstan where it announced a new academic year for participants from rural schools in different parts of the country.
